The business activities of DOMAINE DU MOULIN DE TRIMEULE notably include: Outdoor hospitality, the provision of services of any kind within the framework of unusual/glamping accommodation, and the rental of bare pitches and rental accommodations. Light catering, snacking, the operation of any leisure space, escape games, the sale of well-being products, the sale of market garden products, and more generally all ancillary, related, and complementary activities that may relate to the above purpose.

ARTICLE 1 : GENERAL PRINCIPES

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the terms of sales applicable to the sales and services offered by the company DOMAINE DU MOULIN DE TRIMEULE to clients. They apply solely to sales and services ordered, executed, and invoiced in metropolitan France. The applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale are those in force on the date of the Client’s order. They are written in French in their original version, which alone is authentic and prevails over any other version.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the exclusion of all other conditions.

The Client declares to have read and understood the following provisions before subscribing to any of the offers offered by the company DOMAINE DU MOULIN DE TRIMEULE. Consequently, placing an order implies the Client’s full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. 

The failure to exercise, at any time, a prerogative recognized by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, or not to require the application of any stipulation of the agreement resulting from said Conditions, can in no case be interpreted either as a modification of the contract, or as an express or tacit waiver of the right to exercise said prerogative in the future, or of the right to require the scrupulous execution of the commitments made herein.

In accordance with the provisions of Article L.113-3 of the French Consumer Code and the provisions of the French Tourism Code, these general conditions are made available and communicated to any client who is required, prior to the conclusion of any reservation, to read them under their sole responsibility. The validation of the accommodation reservation by the client constitutes acceptance without restriction or reservation of these general terms and conditions of sale.

In the event that any of the terms of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale are considered illegal or unenforceable by a court decision, the other provisions shall remain in force.

ARTICLE 2 : LEGAL MAJORITY AND CAPACITY

The Client declares to be legally capable of entering into this Contract, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale of which are presented below, meaning being of legal age and not being under guardianship or curatorship.

ARTICLE 3 : RESERVATION CONDITIONS

For reservations made through the website www.moulindetrimeule.com, the amount of the stay and the chosen services are due in full upon reservation.

For any reservation, payment can be made online, by postal check, by holiday vouchers (chèques vacances), or bank transfer in full. For gift vouchers, the entire stay must be paid for at the time of ordering.

The reservation will become effective only with the agreement of Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule, after receipt of payment and after acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale during the online reservation.

Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent to you summarizing the reservation options and the conditions of the stay. This reservation confirmation must be presented upon your arrival.

Please note: any reservation option may be cancelled in the event of late payment for the stay, the option period being fixed at 10 days.

The schedules displayed on our website are updated in real time. If two reservations occur on the same dates and at the same time, only the first one to receive the confirmation of stay will be valid.

In accordance with Article L.121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, we inform you that accommodation services, which must be provided on a specific date or period, are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.

An online reservation is equivalent to signing a rental agreement.

The reservation of accommodation is made on a strictly personal basis. Under no circumstances may you sub-let or assign your reservation without the prior written consent of Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

The informations on the website www.moulindetrimeule.com are not contractual but only informative.

GROUP RESERVATION

• Any reservation of more than 4 accommodations by the same natural person or by different natural persons who know each other and travel together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay is considered a group.

• The accommodations offered on our website are intended exclusively for individual customers.

• For any group reservation request, you must contact us by telephone, e-mail, or via our “CONTACT US” section. We reserve the right to study the reservation request before accepting or refusing it.

ARTICLE 4 : RATES AND TOURIST TAXE

Rates may change as the season progresses and new developments are made. The prices presented on the reservation space may be modified at any time without prior notice. Only the rates appearing on your reservation are authentic. Our prices are per night, per lodge, for 2 people, including 2 breakfasts.

Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for a price difference between two stays booked for the same period. The rates indicated on the site are in euros, including VAT at the rate in force at the time of the reservation date. Any change or modification of the rate, as well as any evolution of the taxes applicable to the stay on the billing date, may be reflected in the price of the stay.

The client’s attention is drawn to the fact that the tourist tax per person (+18 years old) is not included in the price. The tourist tax, collected by the municipality, is set by the latter and must be paid directly on-site to the seller.

No discount will be granted for early departure or late arrival.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of €200 will be requested upon arrival. This sum will cover, if necessary, the cost of damaged or missing equipment and a restoration of the premises if it proves necessary. Payable by check or credit card to the establishment.

The deposit will be closed (credit card file cancelled or check destroyed) at the end of the stay, after deduction of any withheld compensation for potential damage found during the check-out inventory carried out by us after your departure.

All our rentals must be returned clean, and the instructions present in each lodge must have been respected. When rentals are returned in a manifest state of dirtiness, with unwashed dishes, and the cleaning service included in the stay offer is not sufficient, an additional cleaning fee of €50 will be deducted from the security deposit.

The withholding of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs are higher than the amount of the deposit.

ARTICLE 5 : CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS

For any modification or cancellation, a written request, preferably by email, will systematically be required. Your reservation number must be stated in the subject line of the email.

5.1 Modification of your reservation

The client may request a modification of their stay (dates, type of accommodation) upon written request to the campsite (mail or email) at least 15 days prior to the arrival date, subject to availability and possibilities. No postponement will be accepted to the following season. Failing modification, the client must complete their stay under the initial reservation conditions or cancel it according to the cancellation conditions.

• Any request to increase the duration of your stay will be made according to availability and current rates.

• Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and stay interruption terms.

• Any stay interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) by you will not be eligible for a refund.

5.2 Cancellation by Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule

In the event of an orange weather alert, with announced external events beyond our control, such as severe weather, storm, flood, thunderstorm, extreme temperatures… Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. In this case, you will be offered a postponement of your stay within the current year. No other compensation may be claimed.

5.3 Cancellation by the client

In the event of serious illness, serious accident, or death of a registered occupant, a postponement of your stay to a later date will be offered within 12 months, or, at your discretion, a refund of your reservation minus a €5 administration fee. This clause is subject to the presentation of medical proof or a death certificate.

In the event of serious illness, serious accident, or death of a family member not staying in the lodge, the stay will be postponed free of charge within 12 months following the cancellation, solely upon medical proof or a death certificate. No refund can be requested.

In the event of cancellation by the client for one of the following reasons (preventing the stay):

• Closure of borders

• Administrative closure of the campsite

• Quarantine upon arrival of the client or upon the client’s return to their country

• Travel restriction to a number of kilometers not allowing travel to the campsite,

a gift voucher, for an amount corresponding to all sums paid, valid for 18 months, will be issued by the campsite. In the event of refusal by the client of this gift voucher, the corresponding amount will be refunded upon request, minus a €5 administration fee.

Apart from the reasons mentioned above, any stay interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) due to the client will not give rise to a refund or a gift voucher.

For all other reasons:

• Case 1: Cancellation up to 30 days before the stay. 15% of the total amount of the stay will be retained by Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule as cancellation fees. The sums paid, minus the cancellation fees, will be refunded.

• Case 2: Cancellation between 30 days and 15 days before the stay. 30% of the total amount of the stay will be retained by Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule as cancellation fees. The sums paid, minus the cancellation fees, will be refunded.

• Case 3: Cancellation between 15 days and 8 days before the stay. 60% of the total amount of the stay will be retained by Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule as cancellation fees. The sums paid, minus the cancellation fees, will be refunded.

• Case 4: Cancellation less than 7 days before the stay. For any stay cancelled within 7 days prior to the arrival date, interrupted, or not consumed for any reason whatsoever, the entire amount of the booked stay will be due or will remain acquired by Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule.

ARTICLE 6 : PURCHASE AND RESERVATION WITH A GIFT VOUCHER

Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 365 days from the date of purchase. They can be used every day the establishment is open. They are non-refundable.

A prior reservation is mandatory.

In the event of non-use upon expiry of its validity date, loss, or destruction of the gift voucher, neither the buyer nor the beneficiary may claim a refund or an exchange. Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule reserves the right to retain the sums received. As the expiry date is clearly indicated on our gift vouchers, it is your responsibility and duty to book your stay to be completed and effective before the expiry date.

The modification and cancellation conditions of Article 5 apply to reservations linked to a gift voucher, within the limit of its validity date.

ARTICLE 7 : CAPACITY

The number of people mentioned per lodge in our rates corresponds to the maximum authorized occupancy given the available equipment. It cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons (including children and babies).

The Management has the right to refuse any additional person.

Minors unaccompanied by their parents or a legal guardian cannot be admitted.

ARTICLE 8 : CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LODGES

The plans and photos of the accommodations are provided for illustrative purposes.

Reference should be made to the written description of the layout available in the “Our Lodges” section on the website www.moulindetrimeule.com to know the exact composition of each accommodation.

Each lodge contains all kitchen and tableware as well as bedding, bed linen, and towels. The inventory is distributed upon arrival. The client is required to check it and report any discrepancy on the same day.

Any dissatisfaction regarding the cleanliness or general condition of the rental must be notified as soon as possible, in order to allow it to be remedied, and before the first night. No claim will be admissible after your departure.

ARTICLE 9 : CHILDREN

The age of children is calculated relative to their birthday and the start date of the stay. An official document proving the age of the children may be requested at the beginning of the stay.

Anyone between the ages of 0 and 18 is considered a child.

Children are under the full responsibility of their parents or relatives. Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule will not be responsible if a child falls or gets injured while running, walking, or playing. Parents or relatives are solely responsible for supervising children and ensuring their safety. Clients accompanied by children must remain attentive to their well-being and supervise them closely when they play.

Children are accepted in lodges that can accommodate them, with no age restriction. We remind you that most of our lodges are equipped with terraces, balneotherapy bathtubs, or Finnish baths, and that your children remain under your full supervision and responsibility day and night. The lodges lock, and we strongly advise you to secure your nights by using the lock. An adult is mandatory per sleeping area.

ARTICLE 10 : ANIMALS

Our animal friends are not admitted to the Estate in order to preserve the wildlife of the site.

ARTICLE 11 : STAY CONDITIONS

Arrival :

Arrivals are from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Upon arrival, a security deposit will be requested. A reservation number, an identity document, and the credit card used for payment will be required.

If you think you will arrive earlier than 5:00 PM, your lodge may not be available, but you can enjoy the site.

In case of a planned arrival after 7:00 PM, please contact us to obtain instructions for arrival after the reception closes.

For breakfasts, upon arrival, we ask for your choices from a list of predefined products.

An unsupervised parking lot is at your disposal; we ask you not to leave valuables in it, as we decline all responsibility in the event of damage to or theft of vehicles and objects.

After the customary checks and explanations regarding the regulations and safety rules, our staff will lead you to your lodge.

During your stay:

Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule declines all responsibility in the event of an incident falling under the client’s civil liability. All clients must comply with the provisions of the internal regulations. Each registered client is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by the people staying with them.

The lodges are non-smoking. We draw your special attention to this subject for the well-being of all, safety, cleanliness, maintenance of the site, and the smooth running of the stay for all clients. Cigarettes are only permitted on the terraces of the accommodations with butts deposited in the ashtrays provided for this purpose. No butts must be thrown on the ground, especially on the access paths, to respect nature and eliminate any risk of fire starting, which could be very dangerous.

Every client is required to respect the campsite’s internal regulations, posted at reception; they are responsible for disturbances caused by the people staying with them. A characterized failure to respect the internal regulations may lead to the client’s expulsion.

If you ordered a meal, it will be available in the refrigerator or delivered to your lodge at the end of the day. You will have everything you need in the lodge to cook or reheat the meal. Meals must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance.

Breakfast will be left on the terrace of your lodge at the time agreed upon your arrival the day before. We cannot be held responsible if the contents are degraded if the basket is not collected at the requested time.

We ask you not to feed wild animals with your food leftovers.

Our stays guarantee you peace and rest, and as such we ask you to respect other guests; it is not permitted to shout or yell during your movements. Likewise, night movements must be made in complete calm.

We remain at your disposal for any further information.

Departure :

The accommodation must be returned in a clean state, dishes washed, and the inventory may be checked. Any broken or damaged object will be at your expense, as well as the restoration of the premises if it proves necessary.

Departures are until 11:00 AM, unless a special agreement has been made with the Management. Any exceeding of this time slot not previously agreed upon may result in the billing of an additional night at the displayed public rate.

If you wish to leave before 8:00 AM, please inform us beforehand.

In the event of an early departure by the Client without the latter having paid the sums due, Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule will be entitled, on the day of departure, to charge the client remotely using the banking data provided during the reservation.

At the end of your stay, you will return the keys to your lodge and any equipment entrusted to you.

At your request, we can take care of transporting your luggage from your lodge to the reception. These must be placed at the foot of your lodge. This service will be provided within the limits of our availability.

A satisfaction questionnaire is available in the lodges and at reception; you can either complete it on-site or send it back later. We thank you in advance for the time you will give us by filling out this questionnaire, which is carried out with a view to continuously improving our services.

ARTICLE 12 : SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Our estate is entirely located in the woods; we ask you to wear clothing suitable for walking in the forest. We cannot be held responsible for damage suffered by your personal effects (stains, snags…)

To ensure fire safety, it is forbidden to use candles in our lodges, whether inside or on the terrace, and in the forest.

For smokers, please refer to subsection 11 of our Terms and Conditions.

For reasons of safety and cleanliness of the premises, it is forbidden to throw anything from the top of the lodges or in the estate; trash cans are available in the lodges.

Our lodges are equipped with electrical equipment for your well-being; these must not be left unattended.

Upon your arrival, our reception staff will provide a briefing which it is mandatory to attend, and will give you a brochure with the various instructions and emergency telephone numbers.

We provide bags for waste sorting, and we remain available for any questions.

Anyone staying at Domaine du Moulin de Trimeule is required to respect the estate’s internal regulations, which can be found at reception.

ARTICLE 13 : VALUABLES

It is recommended not to leave valuables in the accommodations. The management cannot be held responsible for theft or loss in the accommodations.

ARTICLE 14 : ALCOHOL AND CIGARETTE CONSUMPTION

Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodations.

The consumption of alcohol in connection with the rental of the lodges can be dangerous, and everyone must respect the safety rules set out in the establishment’s internal regulations.

ARTICLE 15 : DISPUTE AND CLAIMS

The photos and plans presented on our various communication tools are non-contractual. They are as close as possible to reality on the ground. They can in no case serve as grounds for a claim.

ARTICLE 18 : LIABILITY

DOMAINE DU MOULIN DE TRIMEULE cannot be held liable for facts and/or events not falling under its civil and contractual liability. In this regard, it is reminded that the Client is solely responsible for their personal effects during their Stay. The liability of DOMAINE DU MOULIN DE TRIMEULE cannot be engaged in the event of loss, theft, or damage to personal effects in the rental accommodations, common areas, and adjoining parking lots. Clients are responsible for the security of the rental accommodation during their Stay, and it is their responsibility to respect the internal regulations of DOMAINE DU MOULIN DE TRIMEULE made available to them at the reception of the establishment and which they will have read upon entering the rental accommodation. Forgetting personal effects inside the rental accommodation when vacating the premises shall not engage the liability of DOMAINE DU MOULIN DE TRIMEULE. The Client must hold a civil liability insurance policy.

Each client will move within a natural environment which, by definition, induces interactions with wildlife and flora. It is therefore imperatively necessary to act with caution and in strict compliance with this natural environment.

Our General Terms and Conditions may evolve over time, as may our services. We hope you will fully enjoy your stay at our Estate.

By accepting these general terms and conditions of sale and stay, you are aware that your stay takes place within nature that must be respected and protected, and that by the same token, we do not guarantee weather conditions or the presence or absence of wild animals or insects.
